Information in compliance with personal data protection regulations

In Europe and in Spain there are data protection rules designed to protect your personal information, which our organisation is required to comply with.

That is why it is very important to us that you fully understand what we are going to do with the personal data we ask you for.

We will therefore be transparent and give you control of your data, using plain language and clear options that will allow you to decide what we will do with your personal information.

If, after reading this information, you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.

1. What will we use your data for? PURPOSE

In general, your personal data will be used so that we can deal with you, provide you with our services and handle the requests you have made through the forms on our website.

It may also be used for other activities, such as sending you advertising or promoting our activities.

2. Why do we need to use your data?

Your personal data is necessary so that we can deal with you and provide you with our services, which allows us to use your information lawfully.

However, there are certain situations in which we will need your prior permission to carry out certain activities, such as sending you advertising or publishing your image on the Internet. For this purpose, we will provide you with a series of tick boxes that will allow you to decide clearly and simply on the use of your personal information.

3. Who will see the information we ask you for?

In general, only duly authorised staff of our organisation will have access to the information we ask you for.

Likewise, those entities that need access to your personal information so that we can provide you with our services may also have access to it.

Public or private entities to which we are required to provide your personal data in order to comply with the law will also have access to your information. For example, Spanish tax law requires certain information on economic transactions above a certain amount to be provided to the Tax Agency.

If, apart from the cases mentioned, we need to disclose  your personal information to other entities, we will first ask for your permission through clear options that will allow you to decide on the matter.

4. How will we protect your data?

We will protect your data with effective security measures based on the risks involved in the use of your information.

To this end, our organisation has approved a Data Protection Policy, and annual checks and audits are carried out to verify that your personal data is secure at all times.

5. Will we send your data to other countries?

There are countries in the world that are safe for your data and others that are less so. For example, the European Union is a safe environment for your data. Our policy is not to send your personal information to any country that is not safe from the point of view of data protection.

6. How long will we keep your data?

We will keep your data for the duration of our relationship and for as long as required by law. Once the applicable legal periods have ended, we will delete it securely and in an environmentally friendly way.

7. What are your data protection rights?

At any time you may contact us to find out what information we hold about you, rectify it if it is incorrect and delete it once our relationship has ended, where legally possible.

You also have the right to request that your information be transferred to another entity. This right is called “portability” and may be useful in certain situations.

To exercise any of these rights, you must send a written request to our address, together with a photocopy of your ID document, so that we can identify you.

At our offices we have specific forms for exercising these rights, and we offer you our help in completing them.

To find out more about your data protection rights, you can visit the  website of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es).

8. Can you withdraw your consent if you change your mind later?

You may withdraw your consent at any time if you change your mind about the use of your data.

For example, if you were once interested in receiving advertising about our products or services but no longer wish to receive it, you can let us know through the objection-to-processing form available at our offices.

9. If you believe your rights have not been respected, where can you file a complaint?

If you believe that our organisation has not respected your rights, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency through any of the following channels:

  • Electronic office: www.agpd.es
  • Postal address: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan, 6,  28001-Madrid
